What is a centralising tool?

A tool used with a cordless drill to produce a concentric hole in the blind side of a rail system. The nose of the tool sits in the hole of the panel and when used in the drill it will ensure the hole is perfectly aligned, whilst allowing for movement without restriction.

What is a rivet spacer nose piece?

A tool for use on the end of a rivet gun to ensure the rivet stands off the panel allowing for flexibility and movement.

What to look for when a rivet will not sit in the panel correctly
  • Examine the jaws within the front end of the rivet tool
  • Check the spring in the rivet tool
  • Check the jaw pushers in the rivet tool
